KNIGHT-CARLTON-193

Rev. Carlton L. Knight

What blessedness it is to know that God keeps us together in oneness of spirit, heart and mind — serving Him, Who calls us to be His followers.  We are endowed with the love and grace of our God and numbered among the saints of God, who continue to tell the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ:  He still saves!  God is still calling people from all strata of life into the kingdom of His dear Son, Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior!

Our work is not yet complete, for there are many in our communities who do not have a relationship with the Lord.  God has called us to use all available spiritual means to proclaim the love and grace of Jesus Christ to all people.  Our confidence is in believing that God will be realized in this community and beyond.  This belief is found in the words of the apostle Paul: “Being confident of this, that He Who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).

The love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ constrains us to this faithful way of life, while we serve with joy and in anticipation that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what we may ask or think.
